The Guesthouse is situated on a quiet beach.
Limalam offers two bungalows, each of which can
sleep up to three people, with shared bathroom
facilities and a traditional shower. Self-cater
in the large haus win kitchen or sit back while
your hosts cater for you. Both bungalows have
a pleasant outdoor space/veranda. Power is by
generator, there are electric lights but lanterns
are also available.

The Guest House is situated on the corner of
the island and the view is classic South Pacific
with lagoons, reefs and little islands. The Guest
House can cater for individuals, couples, families
or group bookings, with shared bathroom facilities,
toilet block and a small kitchen and dining area.
All rooms have flyscreens, mosquito nets and curtains
and some rooms have their own pleasant outdoor
space/veranda. The rooms, toilet and shower and
common areas are all very nice and clean. Power
is by generator, there are electric lights but
lanterns are also available.

Open since 1991 the Lodge offers two types of
traditional style accommodation made almost solely
from bush materials:- Large guesthouse with 4
rooms on the ground floor and a large open area
upstairs suitable for a group. This building contains
a spacious dining room and outdoor verandah. The
nearby bungalow with a double and twin room also
has a small terrace for guests to relax on. Maximum
guests 20.
Mansava is a quiet, relaxing place, and Helen
& Bostons hospitality is wonderful.
Your hosts can arrange traditional dances and
other cultural activities. Yachts and large Cruise
Ships sometimes anchor off Mansava.

This guesthouse is located on the rarely visited
and pristine Tingwon Island almost 30km due west
from New Hanover and some 6 hours by boat from
Kavieng. A stop over en-route at one of the two
guest houses at the Tsoi Islands is recommended.
Positioned in the village 5 minutes from the beachfront,
youll meet many friendly people. The guesthouse
has two buildings, a bungalow made of bush materials
with two single rooms and a western style building
with three rooms two twins and a triple.
Because meals are included in the tariff, its
a cheap place to stay. A real place to experience
PNGs genuine island culture, activities
and hospitality.

Tatau Island in the Tabar Islands of New Ireland.
The islands of Tabar boast of cultural practices
which they maintain and practice to this day.
New Ireland Art Malagan Carvings
from the Tabar Islands are extraordinary art objects
which are treasured the world over. One of New
Irelands renown artists of our time, Edward
Sale, lives and creates just 500m from A^di Guesthouse.
Other master carvers of Tabar are Maris Memenga
and the late Leppan.
Culture and Tradition The Kuk people
on Tatau Island are carefree, friendly and steeped
in the culture and tradition of their forebears.
They especially welcome those who are interested
in learning their culture and the relationship
of their art to the community. Visitors to the
area can view with wonder the traditional ceremonies
and cultural dances that are a natural part of
the life-style of the people. Whether participating
on or just watching the local entertainment, taking
part in organised leisure activities or just walking
around the village and observing day-to-day activities
of the people, you can be assured you will enjoy
the experience of the Tabar Islands.
Adventure Activities Swim or snorkel
in the clear water amid a variety of protected
coral fish on the reef. The fishing just beyond
the reef is unbelievable with a catch of tuna,
barracuda or mackerel almost assured. It is the
ideal base for all excursions to the other islands
of the group. Strolling along the trails on the
island provides wonderful opportunities to view
rich rainforests at close quarters. Experience
walking between the towering kwila trees which
provide a perfect canopy for the islands
beautiful birds and multi-coloured butterflies.

To get to Tatau Island, you take a PMV from Kavieng
to Konos (142km) and ferry across to the island
by a fibreglass dinghy. The boat ride takes about
2 hours.
